Beautiful and Handsome

So I found a suit for Anthony last week at Target for under six dollars so I had to take a picture of him in it. He does look really handsome if I say so myself. And since I was taking a picture of Anthony, Josie needed her picture too. She too looks pretty.

Dora at her finest

So lately Makayla while exploring parts of the house likes to shut the doors behind her. One morning I heard my bathroom door shut and this is what I found when I went to check on her.

She realized that she could empty out the bathroom drawers without even opening them up this way.

One more snow picture

Matt had to stop and take a picture of this since the snow was taller than our van.

Spaghetti

With all my kids I have taken pictures of them after they have eaten spaghetti. My sister has seen first hand the mess my children can make with spaghetti. So now it is Makayla's turn. It doesn't help that she likes to put her bowl on her head after she is done eating.

Of course she gave me one of her goofy grins that she loves to give. Yeah, I was a bad mom and forgot to take her white nice shirt off before she started eating at least I got it all out.

Lots of snow

Since the beginning of December we have received well over 30 inches of snow, in the month of December alone we received over 24 inches. The weather men said that we were 19 inches over the norm for December alone. Needless to say it has been a very interesting winter so far. The bad part is that is way to cold to play in it for more than a couple of minutes. Here are some pictures from all the snow storms so far.
The First Snow Storm which closed schools down for 3 days which brought our first 9-10 inches:

The Second Snow Storm which came on Christmas Eve and lasted about 80 hours and dumped 15.2 inches of snow on us .

Our most recent snow storm, this is what we look like after 3 snow storms with very little melting if any:

Did I mention we have a 6 foot fence?
The drift at the side of our driveway. What the front of the house looks like.

The view from our street.

Some more views along our street.

A side shot of our house.

A view from our front door.

Oh and did I mention that I am very grateful for our snow blower? Because I am extremely grateful for it. I just hope the snow doesn't all melt at once. We are very much looking forward to next week when the heat wave hits... we will be in the 20's and possibly the 30's!!

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve we headed over to Sam and Susie's house to do presents early since a big winter storm was beginning, promising to bring us lots of snow. The kids had lots of fun opening their presents. They got lots of new toys and clothes. Matt and I got lots of new clothes and a gift card to buy a new mattress for our bed. Here are some pictures from our Christmas there.
Anthony got his first fishing pole from Grandada. To make it even better it is a Snoopy one. He was so excited to see his favorite characters on the package.

Makayla was very serious looking while opening presents. The only present that she wanted was the ball that she got. Anthony got Puss from Shrek, he was so excited when he opened it.

Then a few minutes later he opened a baby dronkey and a baby shrek!! He was even more excited after that.

Thanks Sam and Susie for a great Christmas!! We love you lots!
