THREE

For a couple of weeks Makayla has been waiting for her big day. She has been showing everyone how old she will be with her fingers and the day is finally here. She was so excited when she woke up that morning because everyone was home since it was a Sunday. We all got to spend the day honoring and celebrating her.

The day before her big birthday she helped me bake the cake. The tradition is that the birthday girl or boy gets to lick the beater and she was ready to go at it. The day before I bought some fun doughnut holes for her birthday breakfast and she really enjoyed them. Makayla really enjoyed helping me frost the cake
The day before her birthday we got our first real snowfall of the season and since it was to cold and snowy to play in yesterday the kids played today. This was probably Makayla's first real time actually playing in the snow since the last couple of years she was to little or didn't really have an interest in it. The kids had a ball and Makayla was very excited to wear pink snow pants. From her siblings they gave her some new Princess sheets for her bed and then she got from us a fun very soft Princess pillow.
Alls this girl wanted for her birthday was a big Snow White and Belle but she being the girly girl that she is we got her her own dresses to match them and she loves them!! She couldn't wait to get one of her new dresses on and play with her new Minnie Mouse House. Thanks Grandma and Papa for the new toy she loves it!!
The birthday girl with her Princess cake that she wantedYou can tell she is related to Anthony when she blows out her candles. A little bit more spitting than blowing. WE really enjoy this little girl and all that she brings to our family. She brings so much smiles and laughter to our home along with some frustration from time to time with her attitude and stubbornness but it all balances out in the end. We love you our little Makayla!!!
