Our trip to Grandma and Papa's house

We left on February 18Th and arrived after a long delayed layover in Denver. The kids were really excited to see Papa and get more acquainted with Grandma (which they did). The next morning we went over to Shannon's and had lunch then we all piled into the cars and went to the Children's Museum.Anthony threw everything out of the back of the fire truck so he could sit back there with his fish.Even Rose and I had fun there, we dressed up as king and queen. We went to Red Robin to celebrate Shannon's big day!!! Yes, she is now the big 30! Of course we had to do something special for her, so I got her a sash and a tiara.

On Saturday, Dad, Eric and I threw a surprise party for Shannon for her birthday. We did a cemetery theme for her big day.

We went swimming earlier that day and with all the playing and lack of naps throughout the week Anthony hit rock bottom. He fell asleep on the way home from the pool, we woke him up later to eat dinner. He was so tired that he could not wake up, Matt had to take him into the shower with him to get him to wake up.Josie and Emma had a great time together on this trip. They played really well together.

On our flight home we had a two hour layover in Denver so Melissa meet us up at the airport. This was her first time seeing Makayla. She had her three kids with her so we all got to eat lunch together. Once again we had a wonderful time with my family. Rose and William came and stayed with us the whole time we were there. It was great to spend that time with her. Thanks David for sharing. We also spent lots of time with Shannon and her family which was a blast being with them. Mom and Dad were absolutely great to us, the kids didn't want to leave Papa and Grandma. Thanks for all the fun and the love that you shared with us while we were there. We missed having Jacob and his family there but look forward to seeing them this summer. We love you all and miss you all so much already!!!!
