Our Family Vacation Day 1

We left our home around 3:45 am since we had lots of fun things planned and since we had to make it to Casper, WY for the night. The kids were so excited to finally be leaving for our trip. Our first stop for the day was Car henge which took us about 8 hours to get there. This was pretty fun to walk around and see this different kind of art work.

After we left Car henge we drove on to Fort Robinson which was only about an hour and half away. We spent about three hours there enjoying being out of the car and seeing the different sites of the fort.

We took a narrative hay rack ride through the town were the tour guide gave us a detail history of the fort.
This was the building where Crazy Horse was killed.

After we finished up at Fort Robinson we got back in the car and drove about another 3 hours to Casper, WY where we had hotel reservations for the night. We stopped at this fun restaurant in Casper to eat.




We had a very fun and eventful first day of our trip the kids did really well in the car and we were very happy to have most of the driving behind us.
