10 months old

Matt and I can't believe that our baby is 10 months old already. This past 10 months has gone by so fast and we can't believe that soon it will be his 1st birthday. Zachary is really good now at cruising along the furniture, who knows how much longer till he starts letting go and working on his balance.

Anthony got some remote control cars for Christmas this year and needless to say Zachary loves them. He chases them down as quickly as he can.

As mentioned earlier he can go up the stairs but is not very good yet at going down, he likes to open up the gate and head for the stairs when no one is looking. His older siblings have been told not to hang out or play on the stairs because it encourages him to want to head down with them.
Zachary loves to dance when the radio is on, he crawls up to the table with the stereo and sways to the music. He especially loves it when someone joins in with him.
Some fun things about Zachary at this age are:

1. He loves to be wrestled with

2. He loves to be tossed up in the air

3. He loves to play peek a boo and he just laughs and laughs when we play

4. He loves to splash in water especially the bath tub

5. He is really branching out and eating new things even though he still only has two teeth

Another thing about Zachary is that he is following in his big sister Makayla's footsteps. He has been suffering from ear infections since this summer and so when he only lasted one week off antibiotics and was put back on because of another one then two days later we had to go back and switch antibiotics we decided it was time to go and see the ENT. So on the 4Th we went and was checked by the doctor and decided that on the 24Th, so next Tuesday he will be having tubes put in. We are trying very hard to keep him healthy till then so the surgery can take place and hopefully like Makayla the tubes will put an end to his ear aches.


We love our little boy and love watching his progression. He is always full of smiles even when he is sick. He brings such a sweet spirit into our home. Love you Zachary!!!
