Memorial Day

For Memorial Day we did a couple of things. First we went to the Renaissance Fair. We ate some lunch, the kids each rode a pony ride and we watched some of the theatrical shows. Josie got to pet and hug a 2 month old horse which was a big deal for her.
Josie and Anthony got to ride a pirate ship.

My crazy little boy loves lemons. He had to eat it once we finished our lemonade. He later dropped it on the ground and was heart broken when we said he couldn't eat it anymore. We were right next to the camel ride when it happened so the guy said give it to me, he then proceeded to feed it to the camel. Anthony really got upset then, he yelled "that is my lemon." It was funny, but not to him.

What a cute baby horse!!
Please someone give me some water!!!!!
Some fun videos...

After the fair we stopped at the park close to our home because they put up flags on either side of the side walk and I thought it would be cool for us to walk through the "tunnel of flags."

Our first boat outing of the year

We took the boat out last night to have some fun and to make sure the motor was working okay before boating season starts. We had a great time, even Makayla didn't mind it to much. We kept her in her car seat so at least she would be seat belted in.

She looks like she is on a roller coaster ride!!

Josie's Dance Recital

Josie had her dance recital last weekend and she did a fantastic job performing her dance. Her class danced to a medley of Elvis music. We were so impressed with her performance, I got butterflies in my tummy as she walked out onto the big stage. Great Job Josie, you looked beautiful and you danced beautifully too!!!!

Sisters

Josie told me that she was taking her baby for a walk
to Grandma's house. Makayla looks a little big in that stroller or the stroller looks a little small!

Preschool Program

Josie had her end of the year preschool program last Wednesday night. The classes sang some of their favorite songs that they learned throughout the year. They did a great job.

They all got a diploma too!!! Yeah, hopefully the first of many!!

Here is a video of one their songs. Aren't they cute?!

Anthony

I just thought this was a cute picture of Anthony so I had to add it in too. I look at him lately and I wonder where did my little baby boy go. He is turning more and more into a big boy. The things he says and does are so big. But he is still a mommy's boy!!!!!!! I am very happy about that!!

Mother/Daughter time

Josie and I have been having riding bikes together a lot lately. She makes sure that I wear a helmet too. I didn't have my own helmet so I was using one that Susie gave us. On Mother's Day she gave me my very own helmet. The one in the pictures is the one from Susie. My new one is blue and much fancier.

Matt's kabobs

Matt has been experimenting with making sea food lately. This is his latest attempt. Anthony was so hungry he couldn't wait till we blessed the food.

Makayla 5 months already...

Some things about Makayla are she loves to be talked to. She loves to be held, if no one is talking to her and she wants to get your attention she makes noises till you look at her. She finally decided that it was time to roll, she now rolls from her belly to back. At times she is even trying to roll onto her belly. She is learning to sit up, she loves to she what is going on. She laughs at herself when she sees herself in the mirror. Makayla is a very happy and sweet little girl.

What a BIG BOY

It is official I now only have one kid in diapers. Anthony is a BIG BOY NOW!!! He finally got over his fear of pooping on the potty. We told him to get his special toy he had to poop on the potty without the help of medication so he finally did it consistently enough to were he got his special new toy. He was so excited to get it. On a side note doesn't he look so big with his new hair cut?

Josie's new bike

Josie had to earn her bike by getting 12 stickers. She had a nasty habit of using naughty words, we tried everything to get her to stop. She really wanted a new bike so we came up with the idea that if she didn't say any bad words all day she would get a sticker on her bike chart. Once she got the first sticker her mouth cleaned up quickly. Yeah!!! Way to go Josie!!!
