Zach's first St. Patrick's Day

Sam gave this adorable little outfit to Zachary while we were in the hospital. Doesn't he look adorable on his first St. Patricks Day?

So Sweet

I was playing around with the camera and decided to take some pictures of Zachary. I think he is so cute and wanted to get some pictures of him before his cord fell off. He was a great little model for me. Here he is at 12 days old.

I thought this was precious, his big sis leaning in for a kiss.

I am so grateful for this little boy and am so glad that he joined our family. I love him so much!!

King Kong

Last Friday was dress up as a superhero or superstar day at school for Anthony, he wanted to be King Kong. He looked so cute dressed up and even posed for the picture. He was so excited to be able to wear this to school.

Grandma and Papa's visit

My parents came to visit us last week which was so much fun, the kids could not wait for them to get here. After they arrived later than expected the kids were so excited to wake up on Tuesday morning to them here.

Mom and Zachary snoozing together.

My dad and Josie practiced reading books together. My Dad also went up and ate lunch with Josie everyday he was here except for one day. She loved having him up at her school for lunch and then he went out to recess with her and not only pushed her on a swing but six kids at a time. Needless to say by Friday afternoon his shoulder was a little sore.
Proud new grandparents, they now have 13 grandchildren!

It was so great to have my parents here for almost a week, the kids love the time they have with them. Thanks for all the cooking that you did Dad and Mom, the food was great. Thanks for driving me and the kids around Mom and Dad to all our different activities. We love you and are so grateful you came out to be with us and see Zachary. We miss you both so much already!!!

Some Random Pictures

Since Zachary has been home he has been spoiled by much love and attention. Everyone wants to be around him or holding him. He is very loved and accepted into our family.

Anthony wants to make sure that Zachary too likes gorillas as much as he does.

Some different pictures of Zach, isn't he too cute!

Some floor time with Makayla.

Watching TV with Anthony

A very proud big sister, I have a picture of Josie holding Anthony at this age which is very similar to this one.

We had lots of friends and family come and visit in the hospital which was truly wonderful to have them come and celebrate the birth of Zachary with us, we just want to thank everyone who stopped by to see us.

Sam made some Chicken Noodle Soup especially for me, which made a fantastic dinner one night. Makayla helped me finish it off. Thanks Sam, you know how much I love your soup!!!

Zachary James

On Wednesday the 2ND of March we welcomed our sweet little boy into our family. We left home shortly after 5 am to be at the hospital by 5:30am. The surgery was scheduled for around 7:15 am but we were pushed back for about half an hour due to another lady needing to go before me. Zachary was born at 8:36am and came out peeing on a med student and crying a very healthy sounding cry. Needless to say he is healthy and absolutely beautiful. He weighed in at 7 lbs. 14 oz. and was 20 inches long.

Me and Zachary in recovery.

Carri was the first one to come and see him, she had to wait till I was done feeding him before she could hold him though.

After Josie got out of school Susie brought the kids up to see him. She was very kind to take the three kids for us while we where in the hospital. Here she is a proud Grandma again!!

The kids checking out their new little brother.

Anthony was so proud to have a brother that he had to be the first one to hold him. Doesn't he look like a proud big brother?

And a very proud biggest sister!! She was very excited that she went to school and told her class that her brother was coming out today.

Last but not least we can't forget about his other big sister, she was very interested in her new baby brother. She loves to hold him and give him his pacifier.
Our newest family photo, I was not allowed out of bed which was okay because I was pretty nauseous most of the day. I sure love my family!!!

Aunt Teresa came up to see Zachary too!!
And last but not least a proud Grandpa!!!
And one proud Dad too!!!

I am so grateful to welcome Zachary into our family, we are so blessed that he his healthy and that the surgery went well and that the recovery is going smoothly. Thanks to everyone who remembered us in your prayers and for those that continue to pray for us. I will post some more pictures later so stay tuned.

Tomorrow's the big day

As of tomorrow morning around 7:15 am I will no longer be pregnant instead we will be welcoming our sweet baby Zachary James into our family. Please keep us in our prayers that the surgery goes well and that I have an easy and safe recovery and that everyone adjusts quickly to our new family.

Circus

This weekend we went to the circus while they were in town. The kids love to go, needless to say it is always a special treat for them. We let them pick one animal ride each year to go on, Makayla was fascinated while watching the camels so when Josie picked the camel ride we let Makayla go with her.

Anthony however picked the elephant ride. This year he was able to go without mom and dad. He ended up getting on the ride at the same time the girls where on their ride so here I am running back and forth trying to get pictures of everyone. I probably looked pretty funny running with my big ole pregnant belly.

Anthony and Makayla also enjoyed a helicopter ride before going to watch the show.
We bought the kids each a light up toy at Walmart which saved us a ton of money since the ones at the circus were twice that amount each. Makayla loved hers can't you tell.
The other two loved theirs as well.

What a great family memory as a family of five.
