During our trip we went to the Hogle Zoo for a day. They had some fun dinosaurs displays going on which the kids liked to see. Some of them even would spit at you which was really funny when it got you. For the most part we had a great time at the zoo despite the heat.
We thought the baby elephant and her mom was pretty fun to see.
We watched a fun little bird show while there. The kids really enjoyed watching the neat things the birds did.
Finally we got to the gorilla's. Since we arrived at the zoo that was all everyone heard from Anthony was I want to see the gorillas. I must say the Hogle Zoo really lacked in the gorilla department compared to our zoo but that is okay. We still had fun looking at this zoo's gorilla.

some lady was very nice to Anthony and gave up the gorilla just for him which needless to say made his day.

Compared to the Henry Doorly Zoo the Hogle Zoo is lacking in pretty much every way. Except for maybe the nachos...
Oh and the carousel. Anyway, I'm glad Anthony got to ride the gorilla! What a nice lady to give it up for him.
