An Easter Egg Hunt

On Saturday I hid some eggs in the front yard for the kids to find. They had lots of fun finding them. Anthony was more picky about what colors he wanted whereas the girls didn't care what color the egg was.

On Thursday while Matt was outside he spotted a mouse on the side of the house, he quickly grabbed Holly to take care of it. He flushed the mouse out of its hiding place with a hose and when it took off Holly saw it and took care of it from there.

It was a pretty good size mouse!! Thanks Holly!!

Makayla

So yesterday Makayla had a big day, she had tubes put in her ears. We are so thankful that she got this procedure done because everyday this sweet child of mine lives in pain or constant pressure on her ears or both. After the surgery was over the doctor came in to talk with us and he said that her left ear was so infected that her poor little ear drum more than likely would have ruptured some time that day. My child who has been on antibiotics since last Friday obviously was not getting better. I am so grateful that she received the tubes and that she is on the road to recovery at last. I hope and pray that her ears finally clear up and that my child doesn't have to live anymore with constant pressure and pain in her ears. Thanks to all those who have been praying for her and we ask that you continue to do so.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

So for St. Patrick's Day besides wearing green we decided to make chocolate chip cookies with a twist. We dyed the cookie dough green. It looked really cool, when we baked them they still browned up but the insides of the cookies were green colored. We had a great time making cookies together.

Anthony's trip to the Dentist

Anthony went to the dentist for the first time on Tuesday. He did such a great job, he let them count,clean and take pictures of his teeth.

Rose's visit

The day my parents left my younger sister and her son came to visit. We were really happy to have them come and visit. William is getting so big and he is so different from my kids it was unreal. My three kids are very loud and outgoing and he is very quiet and calm. I think the noise at times made him a little nervous. He quickly adjusted to the craziness of our house. He was fun to have and I enjoyed getting to know my nephew a little more. While they were here we went to the zoo with them too. While at the zoo my silly little boy decided to show every monkey in the jungle that he had a banana. He got some attention from the monkey's. It was pretty funny. Josie then got in on the action and started showing the monkey's her banana too.

This monkey kept making faces at Rose, it was really funny.

Makayla wasn't feeling very well since she got shots the day before, but she sure liked the Gorillas.

Thanks for coming out again and visiting with us Rose and William. I love you and love that you take the time to come out and be with me and my family. I wish that you lived closer to me, hint hint!!!!

My parents visit

My parents came to visit on the 21st of February and stayed until the 27Th. We had so much fun while they were here. Josie and Anthony loved to play toys with Papa. They kept him pretty busy from morning till bedtime. Makayla liked to play and read with Grandma and Papa too. While they were here we took them to the zoo one day and to the circus the next day.
